Domain transfer
When choosing Area IT Hosting, many of our customers decide to transfer their domain as well. This will mean extra convenience and security as you will be able to administer your internet project, including hosting, emails and domains, in one place.
You need EPP/ Authorization code to transfer the domain. You can get this code from the existing domain registrar.
This code is optional for the transfer of the .lv domain.
If you transfer .lv domain and you do not have EPP code, then you should send the email to dns@nic.lv
from the email address you used to register transferrable domain name.
The email text must be: “Please replace the domain (your domain name) registrar to SIA Area IT”
*The domain ownership remains the same and you can transfer the domain to another registrar at any
time.
Area IT is official .lv domain registrar.
