Creating an account

    Your hosting account will be created automatically within minutes after filling in the application on the Area.lv website. You MUST provide email address when registering. The email address will also be used to contact you in the future. By specifying the email address you are responsible that it is available to you and you will familiarize yourself with all the messages sent. In case of false information provision, your hosting account can be blocked without warning. 

    Content

    All of our services may only be used within the limits of the law relating to the legislation of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union. The Customer agrees to compensate for the losses and to meet all the requirements resulting from the client’s activity. 

    It is forbidden to place the following programs on our servers and forbidden to use our services for the following activities and files:

        Materials which posting violates copyright

        IRC scripts/ bots

        Warez sites and pirated programming

        Proxy Scripts/Anonymizers

        AutoSurf/PTC/PTS/PPC sites

        IP scanners

        Mail Bombers/ spam scripts

        sites containing pornography of children

        sites and programs for hackers

        gaming servers

        internet radio and TV

        video/audio files storage

        backup files storage

        torrent trackers and similar sites

        inbound socket connections

        Other sites that offer illegal file exchange between users

    Spam policy

    While using Area IT services it is strictly prohibited to send spam emails, as well as to send emails to a large number of recipients without prior consent of the recipients.

    In case of violation of this clause, the hosting account will be blocked without warning.

    The use of resources

    Users may not take the following actions:

        To use 25% or more system resources for more than 90 seconds. There are several options that can lead to the following situation: CGI scripts, FTP, PHP, HTTP, etc.

        to run background processes that include any daemon, such as IRCD

        to run software that collaborates with IRC

        to operate game servers

        to run regular scripts (crontab) more than 10 minutes.

        IT IS FORBIDDEN TO DEPLOY WEBSITES THAT REQUIRE LARGE SERVER RESOURCES AND THUS SLOW DOWN SERVER OPERATION

    Hosting plans are designed to maintain websites. Hosting plans are not allowed to use as a data storage facility for files that are not related to the operation of the websites. The hosting plan disk space is not allowed to use for the storage of backup copies. 

    To ensure a stable service operation for all customers, hosting plans are imposed on Cloudlinux resource restrictions that protect from events where one particular hosting account overload creates service breaks for other hosting accounts.

    Costs and Resource Increasing
    Area IT reserves the right to change the specified prices on the website and increase the resources assigned to the plans.

    Termination of services and repayment of money

    Area IT provides unconditional money return within 14 days from the start of the hosting service. No cash repayment after a 14 -day period. The cash repayment guarantee does not apply to domain names, SSL certificates, IP addresses distributed. Only new accounts can receive full refund, for example, if you have used our service previously, stopped to use it and registered again, you are not entitled to ask for a refund.

    Money refunds are not made in cases where the terms of use are violated.

    Backup

    Area IT makes backup copies of the hosting customer accounts once a day and stores backup copies for 2 weeks. You are responsible for all the files and data you have placed on the server. Area IT is not responsible for situations where backup copies may not be available for any reason, including, but not limited to damaged data, hardware failures or employee negligence 

    Backup copies are not made for virtual servers (VPS).

    All cPanel and Softaculous backup files older than 72 hours are automatically deleted from the server and need to be downloaded and stored outside the hosting account. 

    Liability

    Area IT does not take responsibility for any loss that your business may face. 

    In the event of violations of the terms of use, the hosting account may be blocked without warning and the money may not be returned for the time unused. The relevant law enforcement authorities will be informed about the violation of the terms that will violate the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.

    Changes in the provisions

    Area IT reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions without prior warning.
